I’ve met a few new people this week and the question that came up most is “What is therapy?”
My answer is always whatever you need therapy to be for you.
Now, my answer may differ from others but I wanted to share a few things that I’ve heard so far from clients, other therapists and mental health professionals, family, friends, etc.
